Terms of sale

Version of 20 October 2026 (update: delivery within the European Union). This is a translation of the French Conditions générales de vente; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1. Seller

The Miaoutfit shop is run by Vassili Thomas, sole trader (micro-entreprise), 9 Grande Rue, 78160 Marly-le-Roi, France, SIRET registration in progress, contact: vassilithom@gmail.com. These terms apply to every order placed on the shop by a consumer.

2. Products

The products are accessories and items for cats, described on their product page. The photos are as faithful as possible. Collars must be worn according to the safety instructions shown on each product page.

3. Prices

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. Delivery costs are shown before the order is confirmed.

4. Order

You choose your products, check your cart, enter your details and delivery method, then confirm and pay. The order is confirmed by email. For a pack of collars, write the colours in the order note; if you don't, you receive the model's signature colour shown on its product page. For an engraved collar, write the name.

5. Payment

Payment is made online by bank card or by the other methods offered at checkout, via Shopify Payments. We never have access to your bank details.

6. Delivery

We deliver to mainland France and the other countries of the European Union. The lead time shown on each product page and at checkout is the one given by the supplier. If no lead time is stated, delivery takes place no later than 30 days after the order. Details are in our Shipping Policy. In case of delay, you may ask us to deliver within a reasonable additional period, then cancel the order if that period is not met.

7. Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from receipt to withdraw, without giving a reason, by telling us by email at vassilithom@gmail.com or with the form below. You then send the product back within 14 days, at your expense. We refund you, including standard delivery costs, no later than 14 days after your request; we may wait until we receive the product or proof that it has been sent back. The name-engraved collar, made to your specifications, is excluded from the right of withdrawal (article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code).

8. Legal guarantees

All our products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).

Legal guarantee of conformity: you have 2 years from delivery to invoke it. You can obtain repair or replacement of the product or, failing that, a price reduction or a refund. During these 2 years, you do not have to prove that the defect existed at delivery. Return costs are then at our expense.

Guarantee against hidden defects: you have 2 years from discovering the defect. You can choose between cancelling the sale and a price reduction.

9. Personal data

Your data is used to process your order. It is shared with our service providers (Shopify, suppliers, carriers). Details and your rights are set out in our Privacy Policy.

10. Mediation and applicable law

In case of dispute, please write to us first at vassilithom@gmail.com. In accordance with article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, you may then use a consumer mediator free of charge: mediator being appointed, their details will appear here before the first sale. These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protection granted by the mandatory rules of the European Union country where you live.
